Child Safety Standards

MyEchoes (the "App"), developed and operated by MyEchoes Software LLC, is committed to providing a safe environment for all users. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on our platform.
1. Our Commitment
MyEchoes strictly prohibits any content, behavior, or activity that exploits, endangers, or sexualizes minors. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Any imagery, video, or content depicting minors in a sexual manner
- Grooming or solicitation of minors
- Conversations or messages intended to exploit children
- Sharing, distributing, or requesting exploitative content involving minors
- Any content that sexualizes or endangers children in any way
Zero Tolerance Policy: Any user found creating, sharing, or soliciting child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or engaging in any form of child exploitation will be immediately and permanently banned from MyEchoes. We will report such activity to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement authorities.
2. Age Requirements
MyEchoes is intended for users aged 13 and older. By using the App, users confirm they meet this age requirement. Users under 18 should have parental or guardian consent.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has created an account, we will terminate that account immediately.
3. Reporting Mechanisms
MyEchoes provides multiple ways to report content or behavior that violates our child safety standards:
In-App Reporting
- Use the Flag or Report button available on echoes, comments, circles, and user profiles
- Select the appropriate violation category when submitting a report
- Our moderation team reviews all reports promptly

4. Content Moderation
MyEchoes employs a multi-layered approach to content moderation:
- User Reporting: Community members can report violations directly within the App
- Human Review: Our Trust & Safety team reviews flagged content and takes appropriate action
- Proactive Monitoring: We actively monitor for policy violations across the platform
When CSAM or child exploitation content is identified, we:
- Immediately remove the content
- Permanently ban the offending account
- Preserve evidence for law enforcement
- Report to NCMEC and appropriate authorities
5. Cooperation with Authorities
MyEchoes complies with all applicable child safety laws and regulations, including:
- Reporting requirements under U.S. federal law (18 U.S.C. 2258A)
- Cooperation with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC)
- Compliance with law enforcement requests and investigations
- Preservation of data when legally required
